Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BuildTrack, a construction project management platform operated by Nathaniel Morales ("we," "us," "the platform"). By creating an account or using BuildTrack, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
BuildTrack provides project tracking tools for construction contractors, including budget tracking, materials and expense logging, schedule monitoring, work logs, and (where applicable) BOQ/estimating tools. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time as the platform develops.
2. Accounts
Accounts are currently set up manually by us, not through self-service signup. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Free Trial
New accounts typically begin with a 14-day free trial. No payment information is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, access to the app is paused until you subscribe — your data is not deleted and remains available once you subscribe.
4. Subscriptions and Payment
- Subscription pricing is arranged directly with us based on your organization's needs (e.g., number of active projects).
- Payment is currently handled manually (e.g., GCash, bank transfer) — there is no automated billing at this time.
- Your subscription remains active until its expiration date. If not renewed, access is paused (not deleted) until renewal.
- We reserve the right to change pricing for new subscription periods; we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of any change affecting you.
5. Cancellation
You may stop using BuildTrack at any time by simply not renewing your subscription. There is no long-term lock-in. Contact us if you'd like your data permanently deleted rather than retained in a paused state.
6. Your Data and Content
You retain ownership of all data and content you enter into BuildTrack (project details, budgets, materials, estimates, etc.). We do not claim ownership over your business data. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle and protect it.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter — BuildTrack is a tool to help you track and estimate, but final responsibility for project decisions, pricing, and accuracy rests with you.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use BuildTrack for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access another organization's data without authorization
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the platform's operation
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized users outside your organization
8. Service Availability
We aim to keep BuildTrack available and reliable, but as a small, actively-developed platform, occasional downtime, bugs, or maintenance interruptions may occur. We are not liable for losses resulting from temporary unavailability.
9. Limitation of Liability
BuildTrack is provided as a tool to assist with project tracking and estimating. We are not liable for business decisions, financial outcomes, construction errors, or losses arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to inaccurate estimates, missed schedule alerts, or data entry errors. Use professional judgment alongside BuildTrack's outputs, particularly for estimating and financial figures.
10. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update these Terms or modify the service as BuildTrack develops. We'll update the "last updated" date when changes are made. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in unauthorized access attempts, or misuse the platform. We'll make reasonable efforts to communicate with you first, except in cases of serious misuse.
